Rich in cocoa butter and skin loving oils, your lips will feel properly pampered and protected wearing this balm.
Small enough to slide into your pocket, big enough to last, this 15 gram tin is 3 x the size of your average tube of lip balm (4 -5 grams).
Cocoa butter, beeswax, sweet almond oil, olive oil, jojoba oil, vitamin E, flavour oil.
Love this stuff! Can I get it in a tube?
No, sorry. We won't do plastic lip balm tubes because, well.. plastic. And the paper tubes we've tried look lovely... for about five minutes. They just don't stand up well enough to the hard wear of a lip balm being carried around. We believe screw-top aluminium tin is the most practical and sustainable option at this point.
Can you really taste the lip balms?
The flavour oils used in lip balm are not actually flavours... they're aromas, but since smell is such a strong sense, we perceive it as if the balm were flavoured. In fact, you don't want your lip balms flavoured, for two reasons. First, it would encourage you to lick your lips to get a taste, licking off the balm and drying your lips out even more. Secondly, a flavour would get in the way of anything else you ate, which may not be the taste sensation you were after. Better to stick getting a pleasant hit of aroma when you apply your lip balm.
Why we don't sweeten our lip balms:
It's a tasty thought, sweetening lip balms, but in actuality all it does is encourage the wearer to lick their lips more often.. wearing away the balm and drying their lips out even more. Pretty much the opposite of the desired result, so we don't do it.
