A good nose wire can make the difference between a mask that is wearable, comfortable, and effective, and one that just. does. not. work! They are also essential for glasses wearers, as they hold the mask down against your nose and cheek, stopping the mask from pushing your glasses up and preventing fogging by creating a seal along the top edge of the mask.
These nose wires have a double wire core and are plastic coated for comfort and durability.
Each wire is 10 cm long, and 5 mm wide.
These wires are significantly softer than our 5-packs of galvanised wires, but are still strong enough to maintain their shape well.
To fit your wire for your face:
This wire is soft enough to be shaped while wearing your mask.
Place wire in your mask and put your mask on.
Shape the wire over your nose and cheeks until comfortable.
The wire is easy to re-shape if required.
Wires can be sewn into masks if desired, and will be washed with the mask in that case. Wires will usually require reshaping after washing. If your mask has a channel for a nose wire to sit into, your nose wire must be removed before you wash your mask to prevent it coming adrift and potentially damaging your washing machine or laundry.
